Is there a national car rental company that does not charge extra for additional driver?
When I travel to the US from New Zealand, we go to either Dollar, Thrifty or Alamo, depending on their mini-van specials. We never have to pay for an additional driver. However, they usually must aslo have a credit card unless a spouse. Sometimes if you talk nice I have seen them waive that requirement at the counter.
