Reply:Firstly wonder why the Monopoly Act does not take this into cognizance; Secondly a rational policy should be judiciously enacted to disable MNC's to takeover %26amp; phase-off local brands (like Torino in Coimbatore/South India, etc); it is the motive of any MNC to phase-out into oblivion the local brands. Also every individual of the the populace should feel about this %26amp; avoid support to the brand existence with more health alternative drinks available locally. JV's or collaborations with entities like AMUL with Hershey should be banned by the Government to make these little luxuries affordable by all sections of the population in a already extremely unbalanced society where basic decent food consumption is becoming unaffordable.
