What five companies did NAACP:s president Bruce Gordon mention to boycott in his 2006 speech to National Naacp
NAACP Pres. Bruce Gordon named 5 companies, including Dillards and Target, to forget about spending your money there because of few, if any minorities in the higher/highest divisions of management. What were the other three companies. The NYT of the Wash. Post carried the news article on their web pages. This speech to which I am referring was his initial speech, not the revised one and was given in July, 2006. Thanks for your help.

Does anyone work for, or recommend Schneider National as a good starter company in Truck Driving?
I have already applied and waiting for a reply. I jus wanted 2 get a little more info about Schneider. Is it a good company? How extensive is the training? Do they just train you enough so you just barely pass the CDL exam or do they teach you EVERYTHING about the trucks and driving. I plan on doing O-T-R, because i LOVE to travel and see the country and what better way to do it than getting paid for it. I live with my parents, so its not like i have any home issues or anything. I jus wanna know if Schneider has a good Quality of Work, and the way the treat their employees.

Stay away from PAM transport. The drivers there may be on the road for 3 weeks without getting time at home, but they will pay for your training with a guarantee of working for them for so many months afterwards.
So, the worst that can happen is to get into the company, put in the dues for a few months and then move into a better company once you have experience.

The recently created domain benapec.com (March 2007) is hosted on a server in Nigeria.
A search for the name "Benapec" has no oil industry related hits, only sites where people ask if it's a scam. This would not be the case for a legitimate major oil company.
The domain is used in employment scams, where job seekers are tricked into sending cash by Western Union to fake immigration officials / lawyers / travel agents. It's a West African advance fee scam (419 scam).
Beware of any job offers where you have to send money to immigration officials or travel agents in the country where the job is offered. If you need a work visa you always have to go through the embassy in your country.

Who can I contact about life insurance policies isssued by Rio Grande National Life Insurance Company ?
My mother has a life insurance policy she took out years ago. This policy is on both her and myself. Rio Grande National has sold to several different company since then. We are trying to find out who we should contact about this policy. Hope we are not just left out in the cold on this. Any information would be helpful.

i collect banks and just got this one at an antique shop, but i can't seem to get it open.

Reply:Check to see if it has a simple flat latch style of closure on bottom with a hole for a key. Insert pen knife gently - - - it is a lot like popping a door lock, mostly a simple bar inside that you slide over. If not a pen knife try tweezers.
